Academic Excellence & Professional Achievements
A 10th grader already achieving what many aspire to in a lifetime—Inventor of a health tech device, Founder and Captain of an award-winning robotics team, published author and researcher, certified Python programmer, and creator of innovative apps. Passionate about STEM education, He taught dozens of students coding and robotics, inspiring the next generation to innovate and lead.
Ayushmaan Bellum is the founder, programmer, and lead CAD designer of his private robotics team, Cognitaur 29712C, where he serves as captain and driver. Under his leadership, the team has won Tournament Champion, Skills Champion, Excellence, and Amaze Awards, and reached the semifinals at the U.S. Open Robotics Championship.
Beyond robotics, Ayushmaan is the author of “The ‘It Worked Yesterday’ Mystery: The VEX Programmer’s Survival Guide” and a published researcher. His article, “Zeroing In: The Power of PID in Next-Gen Robotics, ” was featured in the National High School Journal of Science (NHSJS), highlighting his expertise in advanced robotics programming. Expanding his creative horizons, Ayushmaan also created “Robo, Roll Over!” — a children’s illustration book packed with coloring activities, puzzles, drawing challenges, and more. The book is now available on Amazon and reflects his passion for making STEM fun and accessible for young learners.
He is co-inventor of Dermalytix, an innovative health-tech solution designed to prevent bedsores before they occur. Using thin-film tactile sensors, intelligent calibration, and predictive machine learning models, the system continuously monitors pressure points in real time. It empowers caregivers with heatmaps, alerts, and risk scores, ensuring timely interventions across hospitals, post-operative care, and home settings. By moving beyond detection into prediction, Dermalytix sets a new standard in patient safety and comfort.
He is also one of the youngest certified Python programmers in the world, developing apps like Peer Guard, a gaming app on Google Play, and AI-powered short films.
Since 2022, he has taught coding and robotics programming to middle and high school students, earning the Presidential Gold Medal for his contributions to STEM education. His journey is driven by one vision: to innovate, inspire, and impact the future through technology.
Leading VEX Robotics Team 29712C - Team Cognitaur to multiple tournament championships and state qualifications, earning prestigious awards including Excellence, Skills Champion, and Tournament Champion titles.
Written about the intersection of technology and storytelling. Research published in the National High School Journal of Science, showcasing commitment to academic excellence.
Developing innovative apps like PeerGuard, which helps teens resist peer pressure—showcasing commitment to using technology for social good and positive impact.
